Situated high above the Medieval Cite, Carcassonne Golf Club commands views that are bound to impress. It's par 71 layout is a good test for golfers of any standard. The course combines subtle changes in elevation with tree lined fairways. The greens are fast with borrows galore - a great test of your putting prowess. Also included in its make up are 5 dog legs. The home holes, 9 and 18 are par 3 with elevated tees, the 5th is a demanding drive over a lake. Be prepared for a brutal opening hole - you drive up a very steep hill with a long second shot to the green. Carcassonne is a rare gem, hidden in the hills of the Aude.
The 18 hole course is slightly hilly, and quite technically challenging.
The 9 hole course is compact/mini (1290m long par 29)
